Fear of The Lord

I have been waiting to do this entry because I have still been discoving what the Fear of the Lord really is. There is a lot to consider. So I have decided that it cannot be explained in just one entry. So...with that said, as I feel moved through the Spirit, who explains all truth in scriptures, I will make posts on this topic.
With this post, I will focus on one thing! Who is the Almighty?

He is the Creator of all things! Genesis 1:1 says that "In the beginning, He created the Heavens and the Earth." All creation comes from Him and no man is without an excuse. There is too much evidence that an all powerful being has created everything and there is no way that it could be just by chance. We need to KNOW our CREATOR!

We went around our backyard to look at some of His creation today!
Take a look at the beautiful design of this flower. How perfect is that?
The colors are magnificent.

The flowers have such a beautiful aroma!

I am not sure what this flower is called, but it stands like a tower in
our backyard. Each one of the white blossoms has purple speckles inside.
It is completely different from the other flowers in our yard.

Paul held the plant in his hand to hold it straight. It is so heavy.
Yet the powerful stem holds it up so that we can see it's beauty.

The plant started as a bush on the ground and then one day
it was so big! Almost overnight, the flower's stem shot up and
produced the flowers.

Our Heavenly Father has so many attributes. This is just one.
Understanding Who He is...is knowledge about Him. When we know
Him...we can have the "fear of the Lord".

Proverbs 9:10
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the
Holy One is understanding."

Hi Tina, I believe that the white tall flowers are called foxglove, and the purple flowers are clematis. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy catching up on your family.

Thank you, Molly. Yes someone else told me about the plants...I found out that the fox gloves are very toxic...so it is no longer in our yard. I am glad the children didn't get sick from them.
