My photo
Each of our lives are tiny seeds that our Heavenly Father has planted. My prayer is that we seek to glorify Him as we grow in His likeness. I am a christian wife and a homeschooling mother of 4 beautiful children. I graduated from Ohio University with my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English. My blogspot will be used to post some of our special moments from our family, share photos and to share some of the things I am learning through my experiences as a wife and mother. I love to write so occationally I may post some of my poetry or short stories I am working on. Thank you for visiting my blog. May you be blessed in Christ and His goodness always. - Tina

Palm Sunday- A Family Gathering

PALM SUNDAY
And when they drew near Jerusalem, and had come to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, Go into the village across from you. And immediately you will find an ass tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, The Lord has need of them, and immediately He will send them. All this was done so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting on an ass, even a colt the foal of an ass." And the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. And they brought the ass, even the colt, and put their clothes on them, and He sat on them. And a very great crowd spread their garments in the way. Others cut down branches from the trees and spread them in the way. And the crowds who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the crowd said, This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth of Galilee.
(Matthew 21:1-11)

We took turns taking pictures of our family together.
After services, we went to Hometown Buffet for lunch. Paul and Samuel fell asleep during the van ride home.

Daddy and Leah!

The children looked so cute as they posed for their pictures.

Our Family...
As we celebrated a wonderful morning, we dressed our best to honour our Lord in celebration of our King. Even though that day that He entered Jerusalem marked the beginning of one of the most difficult challenges He had on this earth...we see Him entering with hope for many who would follow Him.
The people waved palm branches as they praised their King...but at that moment He would not be a King, but a sacrifice for all. The return of Christ will be a glorious day for all those who know, love and serve Him.
AMEN.
